Known to the world as Fergie, Stacy Ann Ferguson catapulted to international stardom in 2004 as the fourth member of hip-hop band the Black Eyed Peas.

Previously fronting girl group Wild Orchid, Fergie was initially invited to feature in the Black Eyed Peas' hit song 'Hey Mamma'.

A woman of many talents, Fergie had her first taste of fame as a child star singing and acting on the on the shows Charlie Brown and Kids Incorporated in the early 1980's.

She formed Wild Orchid with two other members of Kids Incorporated.

Also answering to nicknames 'Fergalicious' and 'The Dutchess', Fergie now not only sings for Black Eyed Peas but has a solo career and recently launched a clothing and footwear line.

She released her first solo album, The Dutchess, in 2006. Produced by Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am, it had six hit songs including 'Big Girls Don't Cry' which is her most successful song to date.

Fergie married long time boyfriend Josh Duhamel in a private ceremony in January 2009.
