Spring is officially here. Bye Winter I must be honest I wont be missing you. Well maybe Queenstown, that was a bit of fun in the snow, but generally blue sky and sunny days for me are best.

So what's to look forward to now Winter has packed it's bags?

And they are off!

The field is full of hot fillies and young studs as they come up to the first straight. Persian Princess is leading the field, hotly followed by Leggy blonde and Buxom Beauty, Flash Harry is not far behind.

Party of the Week was certainly the Prime Ministers Olympic dinner at Auckland Museum.

Funds were being raised for the NZ teams for the 2012 games in London, and there was no shortage of Rich listers in the room.

I should have seen the signs, but I was blind.

Things had not been good for a while, but I thought it was just little issues so didn't think much of it, typical guy. The simplest of tasks turned into dramas, communication was becoming erratic.

The last time NZ won the Miss UnIverse Title was in 1983. The beautiful Lorriane Downes took the coveted prize in St Louis. This year the stunning Ria Van Dyke will be representing NZ at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on the 23rd of August, and I really think she has an excellent chance to impress the judges.

Do you realize it's only 34 days till the start of Spring? September 1st is the first day of spring, that alone should be reason enough to be cheerful.

Well here's another few more reason's to be cheerful.

Last sunday I decided we would have a family day at the movies and go together to watch Shrek 4,  Forever After. It is an awesome movie, just like the ones before it.

The first collaboration between myself and Adam Bennett from Highlife Entertainment took place at The Wharf at the weekend, and what a party it was.

It was a sellout and by the feedback I got it was just what everyone wanted.

The perfect location.

With only four more sleeps to The Highlife AList Winter Social at the luxurious Wharf, like hundreds of others, I can't wait. My facebook page, and mobile phone have all had messages of excitement posted on them.

Mainly from girls I must say, but the most asked question is of course ...What to wear ?

"Queenstown is breathtaking". That is the thought I had as I slammed into the fence at top of the novice slope on Coronet Peak. The instructors voice screaming behind me.. STOP STOP!! Well I had no idea how to for a start. I was supposed to come off the magic carpet and wait at the top of the slope for the rest of the beginners I was with. It didn't quite work out that way.
