Norrie's Week

IN A KINGDOM FAR FAR AWAY..

Last sunday I decided we would have a family day at the movies and go together to watch Shrek 4,  Forever After. It is an awesome movie, just like the ones before it.

Maybe it's the Scottish accent but I really feel for Shrek, a kinderd spirit perhaps. The last thing I was expecting was be almost at the edge of tears at the end...what's that all about?  It's a cartoon for crying out load, and I almost was.

It so happened the next day I had to get some photo's of Adrian Grenier, from  Entourage, who is in town to showcase his very interesting movie, Teenage Paparazzo. Who should I meet at Sky City, but Shrek director Andrew Adamson, his usual big beaming smile greeting me.

"How's it going " he said. "I have a bone to pick with you," I replied. "I nearly balled my eyes out at Shrek" He laughed and said "Have you seen Toy Story yet?..because you will cry at that one " Classic.

Chapel Bar on Ponsonby road has its Winter party on Thursday night, and sounds like a real goodie. Ice sculptures, real snow and cocktails to warm you up. It will be like a little bit of Queenstown comes to Ponsonby. Minus the Aussie school boys.

Have a great week, catch up next week.

Cheers

Norrie
