GO RIA..

The last time NZ won the Miss UnIverse Title was in 1983. The beautiful Lorriane Downes took the coveted prize in St Louis. This year the stunning Ria Van Dyke will be representing NZ at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on the 23rd of August, and I really think she has an excellent chance to impress the judges.

Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting Ria will be blown away with her stunning looks and personality, she has a presence about her that you don't find every day, and I wish her all the best in her big adventure.

Just to put it into perspective. The last time NZ had a world title was in 1987 when the All Blacks won the World cup, lets hope Ria can pip them to the post and get a Universal Title.

Today at The Westin is the Official launch of NZ Fashion week. The designers will be announced and Moet will be sipped and I can't wait. NZ Fashion Week is a highlight in my yearly calendar. Other highlights are Auckland Racing Club of course and the Polo. Anywhere there is fashion and glamour ...I'm there, and so should you be.
