NZ Fashion Design book captures legends

THE FASHION world’s heavy artillery was outin force last week to celebrate the launch of the hottest new coffee table accessory, New Zealand Fashion Design.

Auckland City’s Heritage Hotel played hostto iconic fashion designers, many who feature in the book. Liz Mitchell, Kate Sylvester and the Zambesi hot shots were in their element surrounded by fashion photographers and influential fashion editors.

Capturing the past 30 years of leading edgeand internationally revered Kiwi fashion, NZ Fashion Design profiles 25 individual designers. Hundreds of photographs fromdesigners’ collections are included and readers will discover what goes on behind the scenes of outstanding Kiwi fashion labels.
