Sale St goes south of the border, down Mexico Way.

 

INTERNATIONAL flavours are a fun way to tempt the palette of winers and diners and on Tuesday August 17 Sale Street bar and café took a trip to the Mexican top shelf.

People lined up for a four course dinner matched with tequilas from the Herradura Distillery in Mexico.

The man of the moment was tequila ambassador, Ruben Aceves who is on a mission down under to educate Kiwis and Aussies about the joys of Mexico's famous bevvie.

Soul star Hollie Smith rocked up for the fab food and extraordinary accompaniment and C4 presenter Shannon Ryan was also up for the fun.

Famous author Nicky Pellegrino brought along her man and tempted her Italian-Kiwi taste buds.

An adventurous and fun combination to surprise diners looking for something different
