Thelma & Louise still going strong

Geena Davis has told how she and Susan Sarandon get a kick out being recognised as Thelma & Louise.

The stars appeared in the iconic movie as the titular best friends back in 1991.

Geena, now starring in the Australian film Accidents Happen, said: “Susan and I do keep in touch. I saw her just a couple of weeks ago.

“We always get a kick out of walking down the street together in New York like Thelma & Louise.”
