Teenager charged in connection with theft at Susan Boyle's home

Susan Boyle can rest easy now that a teenager has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft at her home in January.

The 48-year-old singer was left shocked when she returned to Blackburn, West Lothian, and found an intruder in her home. Boyle had been recording her vocals for the Helping Haiti charity single in London.

Lothian and Borders Police have now said: "A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and charged in connection with a theft that happened at a property in Blackburn, on January 26.
