Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber appears on QVC

Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber has appeared on a US shopping channel - to promote his new album.

The Canadian-born singer, who just turned 16, went on QVC to sell copies of the CD My World.

He also played a single from the album before telling the QVC host: "This is crazy, it's a dream come true."

The host also asked him about celebrating his 16th birthday and he revealed: "I got a car for my 16th and my learner's permit!"

He also briefly spoke about he has become such a huge star in the past few months since signing on with music superstar Usher.

He signed with Usher after a bidding war broke out for him with Usher and Justin Timberlake.

Bieber said: "I entered a competition in Canada, and things just escalated.

"Then I kept putting videos up on YouTube - I was just getting my music out there and I got something like one million hits. Then it went crazy with Usher and Justin Timberlake both wanting to sign me. I'm having a blast."
