Shia LaBeouf tells Ellen he's growing up as she embarrasses him with a picture from his past

Shia LaBeouf tells Ellen DeGeneres he’s growing up and starting to appreciate Kenny G – as she embarrasses him with a picture from his past.

The Transformers star, who turns 25 in June, told Ellen he feels like he's maturing.

"I feel it coming," Shia said of his birthday.

"It’s like big boy pants age, you’ve sort of got to get your act together.

"My mother’s attitude has changed – she comes at me. Anytime she’s annoyed at me she says, 'Why don’t you grow up and settle down now.'

"Also I’m listening to 80s and 90s soft rock now - Kenny G, I like The Way You Move and the Earth, Wind & Fire version, sexy saxophone, I never appreciated it before."

But LaBeouf wasn't spared any blushes when Ellen pulled out a photo of the star when he first got into acting business – aged 10!

LaBeouf also set the record straight about his involvement in a recent bar fight.

"I walked out to have a cigarette. I was away with some friends. Some guys instigated me and that's what it was," the star said.

"I didn't know them, it was just an awkward situation. I'm not trying to challenge anybody. People get drunk, people get crazy."
