Samantha Ronson is set to be a bridesmaid for pal Nicole Richie, according to reports.

Richie and fiancé Joel Madden are believed to be planning a December wedding at her father Lionel's Beverly Hills estate.

Their young daughter Harlow is to be a flower girl, according to E! Online. Ronson, 33, who once dated Lindsay Lohan will follow Richie up the aisle as her bridesmaid.

The website added that reports that Christina Aguilera will perform at the reception now appear to be false as the star will be out of the country promoting new film Burlesque.
