Ryan Seacrest to reveal new American Idol judges

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is set to reveal the new line-up of judges on the show on September 22.

The US radio presenter will unveil the new panel for the FOX show at the Forum, according to the US network.

There has been much speculation as to who will join the show since the departure of ex-judges Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi.

Randy Jackson, who has been with the show since the beginning, is the only judge returning for the next season.

It has been rumoured that singer-actress Jennifer Lopez will take up one of the spots along with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
