Robert Kardashian misses family appearance on US talk show

The Kardashian sisters’ younger brother failed to turn up for the family’s appearance on a US talk show.

Kim Kardashian claimed 23-year-old Robert was going through an “irresponsible” phase, while her mother Kris confessed that her son had gone awol.

“He is going through a phase where he just feels like being the irresponsible twenty-something-year-old and sleeping in,” Kim said.

“We don’t know, he’s not answering his phone.”

Robert was due to join his mother, sisters Kim and Kourtney and stepfather Bruce Jenner on Larry King Live on Friday night.

But George Lopez, who was standing in for host Larry King, revealed to viewers that he had failed to turn up.

Asked what had happened to her son, Kris confessed: “Little Robert is M.I.A.”

Kourtney, on the other hand, was not so tactful, and told Lopez she had sent her younger brother a terse e-mail.

“I sent him a very long e-mail about how rude I thought it was and how he needs to get his life together and be more responsible,” she said.
