Philip Green: "Kate Moss Topshop range 'lost it's edge'"

Kate Moss was axed from Topshop because her designs had 'lost that edge' according to boss Philip Green.

The supermodel hooked up with the British fashion store in 2007 but after 14 collections, it has been announced that the two are to part ways.

Topshop chief, millionaire Philip Green, explained his decision to end the deal with the 36-year-old to Grazia magazine.

He said, "About two or three months ago, we came to the decision that it had lost that edge, and we'd lost what our purpose was."

But Green insisted that the chain would continue to work with Moss on 'special' projects.
