Paris Hilton: 'I thought I'd be married by now'

Paris Hilton has admitted that she always thought she would be married by now.

The socialite recently split with nightclub owner Cy Waits and has since been spotted kissing The Hangover director Todd Phillips.

But speaking to Life & Style magazine, she confessed that she expected to be settled down by the time she turned 30.

"When I was a little girl, I always imagined I'd be married with kids by now.

"It's not where I thought I'd be. I'm 30, and I'm by myself."??

Talking about her split from Cy she said that watching her reality show, The World According to Paris, helped her see the way things really were.

"By watching the show, I got an outside perspective of our relationship," she said.

"I realized that yes, I love him and he's one of my best friends, but I needed to make sure he was the one. When I realized I wasn't certain, I knew I had to end it.

"I want to be married and pregnant in two to five years. But first I have to work through my trust issues."
