Orlando Bloom turned down movie to be at son's birth

Actor Orlando Bloom has revealed he turned down a lucrative movie role to be at his son's birth.

The 34-year-old star became a dad for the first time earlier this year when his model wife Miranda Kerr, 28, gave birth to their son Flynn.

According to UK Newspaper The Telegraph, Bloom said: "I rejected a film to be present at the birth.

"It was extraordinary. It seems strange to me to see a little version of myself with all of my imperfections turned into a perfection. A tiny person, so clean, so new…"
