Olivia Wilde 'confused by dating technology'

Olivia Wilde has admitted that the technological advances of the dating world have left her flummoxed.

The 27-year-old Cowboys & Aliens star, who split with husband of seven years, Tao Ruspoli, in March, has since been linked to the likes of Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake. But speaking to Nylon, she insisted, 'dating is new to me'.

"I see the whole thing like someone who's been in a coma and I've come out like, 'Wait, people text message? They text love? How do you text about love?'" she said. "Three Xs and a smiley face? Emoticon? Deal breaker."

And she also admitted that she has gained a few pounds thanks to a spot of post-split comfort-eating.

"I got a divorce and self-medicated with food," she said. "But I figure that's better than self-medicating with crack cocaine."
