No Sex and the City prequel plans says show's creator

Michael Patrick King, creator of Sex and the City, has denied reports that he will be involved in a prequel movie.
King, 56, who wrote, produced and directed the two big-screen adaptations of the TV show, isn't interested in delving into Carrie Bradshaw's past.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association in Los Angeles yesterday, he said: "I am not working on any Sex and the City prequel at all. My Carrie Bradshaw started at 33 and I took her to 40...For me the idea of going backward and making her less evolved is something I don't even imagine doing...I have no connection to a prequel."
The film is tipped to follow Carrie, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, and pals Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda through their teenage years and into their 20s, and would be based on author Candace Bushnell's novels The Carrie Diaries and Summer and the City.
Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez have both been linked to roles in the film.
