Nicole Richie and Joel Madden 'planning to marry' next month

Engaged couple Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are reportedly planning to marry next month.

The pair, who have two children together, got engaged earlier this year and reports claim they have set the date for early December.

It is claimed they will marry at Nicole's father Lionel Richie's home in Beverly Hills.

A source said to RadarOnline.com: "Christmas has always been about family and faith for Nicole and Joel, so there is not [a] better time of the year for them to wed."

No details are known about the big day but Nicole's close friends Christina Aguilera and Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson are expected to attend.
