Miranda Kerr: 'I was crazy not to have an epidural'
Miranda Kerr believes that she was 'crazy' not to have an epidural while giving birth to son Flynn, because the pain was so extreme.
The supermodel had decided that she wanted a natural birth for her first child with husband Orlando Bloom, but said that she didn't realise how big her baby was going to be.
Appearing on Australian TV show Sunday Night, she said, "I remember looking at Orlando and saying, 'Oh, honey'.
"And he said, 'Give me the epidural! Seriously, if you don't want it I'll take it because right now I'm dying watching you go through this pain'.
"I didn't realise Flynn was going to be such a big baby. I had made the decision to not have any drugs, no epidural, nothing. Each to their own. I'm crazy for doing that! A lot of my friends who have had epidurals have said, 'Oh, [labour] was so great'."
And the 28-year-old said that while she does want more children, she is just focusing on Flynn for now.
"I always thought I would have three. Right now I'm just trying to enjoy Flynn," she said.
"They say the first three years are the most important, so I want to make sure that he gets the attention and the nurturing and love that he really needs. So we'll see what happens."
