Miranda Kerr: 'I didn't know my baby would be so big'

Miranda Kerr has revealed that she said no to pain relief because she didn’t realise how big her baby was going to be.
The 28-year-old supermodel and her husband Orlando Bloom welcomed son Flynn six months ago, and she admitted that she had no idea that he would weigh in at a whopping 10lbs.
“I didn’t know the baby was going to be so big,” she told the Sydney Morning Herald. “My doctor miscalculated and she thought he would be seven to eight pounds max (3.1-3.6 kilograms) and he was almost 10 pounds (4.6 kilograms).
“I decided to not have any pain medication and they had to induce me. When you're induced, it's much more intense but it was an empowering experience and I’m really glad I did it that way.”
But she said that her grandmother knew he would be a big boy all along.
“I put on 40 pounds (18 kilograms) but I wasn’t fazed. I was eating so much and my grandma was like, ‘Love, you had better stop eating. You’re going to make a big baby and I don’t know how you are going to push it out’.
“I was like, ‘Nan, it’s fine,’ but she was the only one who knew.”
