Miranda Kerr appears on the cover of Australias InStyle magazine
Miranda Kerr has revealed how she and hubby Orlando Bloom like to do Buddhist chants together.
The couple both practise Nichiren Buddhism, which involves following the teachings of a 13th-century monk.
The mother of six-month-old Flynn also told Australia’s InStyle mag of her friendship with alternative medicine guru Deepak Chopra, who she likes because of his “positive vibration”.
Kerr said: “I’ve been interested in different types of spirituality for years. Nichiren Buddhism is something I learn about every day. Orlando introduced me to it, but I make my own path. I do believe that chanting is beneficial, it’s aligned with my philosophy and as a family I like us to chant together.”
Talking about the India-born Chopra, Kerr said: “Deepak came to the house for a healing meditation after I had Flynn. It’s nice to be in the presence of someone who is a positive vibration.”
