Miley Cyrus arrives in Australia without boyfriend Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus arrived in Sydney for the start of the Aussie leg of her Gypsy Heart world tour.

The teen superstar was ushered through a public exit gate with a 15-strong entourage after arriving just before 7pm from Manila.

At least a dozen security guards made sure no fans recognised her – and also kept the waiting photographers at a distance.

Once inside her people carrier, Miley chatted to a friend before being whisked off to her city centre hotel.

There was no sign of her on/off Aussie boyfriend, Liam Hemsworth.

Miley’s first Aussie concert is in Brisbane on Tuesday, June 21.
