Martin Scorsese wants to make film in 3D

Director Martin Scorsese is the latest filmmaker to want to make a film in 3D.

The 67-year-old recently directed Leonardo DiCaprio's new movie Shutter Island and said he would like to direct a movie in 3D in the future following the success of flicks such as Avatar and Alice In Wonderland.

He said: "I would like to. I'm very excited by 3D. I was 10 years old when the first 3D wave occurred in 1953. Why should we be limited?
