Louis Walsh: 'I miss Simon Cowell'

Louis Walsh has admitted that he misses having his old mate Simon Cowell with him on the UK X Factor judging panel.
Cowell left to launch the show in the US, and the 59-year-old Irish music-mogul Louis admitted that although there is ‘really good chemistry’ between the new judges, it is strange without his friend.
“I do miss the fun with him because we are such good mates, even if I hate to admit it,” he told The Mirror.
“Although without him it means filming has started and finished on time.”
But it looks like he has already bonded with Simon’s replacement Gary Barlow, but joked that he had been hoping for a turn at the head of the panel.
“I’ve always been a huge fan of Gary’s so it’s great to work with him.
“After eight years on the show and being the only surviving original judge I was expecting to be head judge this year, but on day one Gary stole my head judge mug and sat in Simon’s old seat... there’s always next year I suppose!”
