Lindsay Lohans family to fly to California for Christmas visit

Lindsay Lohan's family are swapping their traditional New York Christmas for a festive break on the West Coast to be with the actress, her mother has revealed.

The 24-year-old former Mean Girls star is currently in rehab at the Betty Ford clinic, in California, and won't be allowed to leave the state during the holiday season.

So her family are coming to her, according to mum Dina.

She told E! Online: "I will be spending Christmas and New Year's with all of my children [in California]. Ali and Michael Jr's birthdays are coming up this month, so we've got to get through those first, but I will be with all of my children this holiday."

Lohan was reportedly allowed to leave rehab for one day last month – to celebrate Thanksgiving.
