Actress Lindsay Lohan took a break from her usual partying ways to try out a new hobby.

The Mean Girls star took to the waves in Malibu for a surfing photoshoot.

Lohan looked both happy and scared as she rode some large waves, gripping tightly on to her board.

The 25 year-old became a fan of surfing after being released from house arrest in July, when she was taught the basics at a nearby surf school.
