LiLo 'to be given rehab day release for photo shoot'

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly to be given day release from rehab for a photo shoot for a major magazine.

The actress is battling drug and alcohol addictions at the Betty Ford Clinic. She will leave the facility one day next week, with the approval of her counsellors, to do the shoot in Palm Springs, TMZ reported.

Lohan, 24, has already been moved to a sober house at the clinic with the aim of getting her used to life outside of rehab.

Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told TMZ, "The move to the sober house is part of the program so that Lindsay is integrated back into society, and all the outings she's taken have been pre-approved, and encouraged by program representatives.

"I've spoken with her counsellors who say she's complying with all of the program directives."
