Lee Pace set for a role in Breaking Dawn

Pushing Daisies star Lee Pace is reportedly in negotiations for a role in Twilight: Breaking Dawn.

The US actor, who played pie maker Ned in Pushing Daisies opposite Anna Friel, is said to be close to signing a deal to join the popular franchise in the fourth installment.

Pace, 31, would play the role of Robert Pattinson's character Edward's friend Garrett.

A source said to E! News: "Lee is the top person in the running to play Garrett in Breaking Dawn."

Bill Condon is directing the two Breaking Dawn movies, as it is being split into two parts, and he is reportedly 'hoping to take it in a more artsy direction'.
