Lady Gaga simulates childbirth during performance

Lady Gaga has simulated giving birth during a bizarre performance on US television.

The singer donned a fake pregnant belly and placed her feet in stirrups and she belted out hit song Born This Way on the Saturday Night Live season finale.

As Gaga’s dancers pretended to help her push, squirts of gold paint sprayed between the pop star’s legs.

Gaga, 25, emerged from an egg-shaped carriage as she entered the SNL stage to perform the song.

Wearing tight PVC trousers, a cropped jacket and a spiked dog collar, the singer strutted her way through an energetic dance routine.
