Lady Gaga says Amy Winehouses death is a lesson to the world

Amy Winehouse’s death should teach the world not to “kill the superstar”, Lady Gaga claimed yesterday.
The pop star said the tragic singer’s demise should encourage “the world” to nurture its talented artists.
Gaga added that although she didn’t know Winehouse personally, she “loved her so much” – and even revealed that she used to get mistaken for the Rehab singer.
“I was nobody when she was first coming out. I would be on the street and people would go ‘Amy’,” the Judas singer said in an interview on a US radio show.
“I just remember feeling like I wasn’t alone because she was so different. It’s a lesson to the world. Don’t kill the superstar, take care of her soul.”
The 25-year-old Yoü And I singer also revealed that she was not a fan of LA’s sunny climate because she likes to wear veils.
“I like it in small doses. It’s too sunny for me,” she said.
“I like pale, dark, lonely. I like to wear veils because I figure there’s always someone who’s died, some reason to mourn.”
