Kim Kardashian's new sportsman hubby has been dubbed 'Kate Middleton' by his teammates – because he has married into 'royalty'.

Basketball ace Kris Humphries, 26, wed the reality TV beauty in a lavish ceremony in Los Angeles last weekend.

And now his pals are ribbing him over his choice of bride.

A source told a US newspaper: "They are now calling the NBA star 'Kate Middleton.'"

It comes after Kris, and Kim, 30, jetted off to Europe for a brief Italian honeymoon.
