Kim Kardashian on look-out for a 'normal Armenian boy'

Kim Kardashian has revealed she just wants to date a “normal Armenian boy”.

The reality TV beauty, who has been going out with NFL star Miles Austin in recent months, is unsure whether she would describe herself as "taken” and appears eager to meet more potential Mr Rights.

Asked by Ryan Seacrest about a recent blind date set up by her mum Kris Jenner and shown on last week’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the 29-year-old said: "I’m dating. [But] I don't like blind dates. She [my mum] is trying to come up with all these names in Hollywood, and I'm like 'Just get me out of here. I want a normal Armenian boy'. I absolutely love them."

Kardashian's paternal great-grandparents emigrated from Armenia during World War I. Earlier this year, she told ShowbizSpy: "I was raised with a huge Armenian influence, always hearing stories of Armenia, eating Armenian food and celebrating Armenian holidays!"

She said her late dad, celebrity lawyer Robert Kardashian, "was so proud to be Armenian and his biggest regret was not sending us to Armenian school! I am so proud to be Armenian and so happy that I can identify with my Armenian fans."

Curvy Kim dazzled on the red carpet ahead of the Emmy Awards on Sunday night, dressed in a figure-hugging white embellished Marchesa gown.

She and Glee’s Lea Michele gushed over each other’s gowns, comparing notes on jewellery and accessories.

Michele opted for a dark blue Oscar De La Renta dress, which Kardashian said she was “freaking out” over.
