Kara DioGuardi fired from American Idol?

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi has reportedly been fired from the show as producers plan to shake up the judging line-up.

The 39-year-old record producer joined the show for its eighth season in 2009 when she became the fourth judge joining Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Simon Cowell.

According to TMZ, bosses on the show now want to revert the panel back to three judges and she has been fired.

It has been claimed that Randy Jackson will stay on as a judge and he will be joined by Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler.

Simon Cowell and Ellen DeGeneres have already quit the show and sources claim the only way DioGuardi will stay on is if Lopez's deal falls through.
