Justin Timberlake tipped for Dirty Dancing reboot

Singer-actor Justin Timberlake has been named the favourite to star in the new version of Dirty Dancing.

Bookmakers in the UK have thrown their hats into the ring in regard to the cast for the remake of the classic movie with the Friends with Benefits actor being tipped as favourite.

In the potential role of Johnny Castle, which was made famous by Patrick Swayze, the 30-year-old is the favourite at 3/1, with actor Chris Hemsworth, 28, in second at 6/1.

Scream 4 actress Emma Roberts, 20, and Glee star Lea Michele, 24, are 8/1 joint second favourites to take up the role of Frances, which was previously played by Jennifer Grey in the original 80s flick.

The film is set to hit cinemas in 2013.
