Justin Timberlake sells NYC apartment for $4.7m

Justin Timberlake has sold his old New York City apartment at a loss.

Timberlake now lives in a luxurious penthouse apartment at Manhattan's Soho Mews and had been trying to offload his previous home.

Now he has sold the 3,000 sq-ft apartment at Tribeca's Pearline Soap Factory for $4.7m - less than the $4.77m he paid for it back in 2008, the Wall Street Journal reports.

The singer had been hoping to make a profit on the apartment and originally listed it for sale at $5.25m.
