Justin Timberlake 'helped Olivia Wilde in mum role'

Justin Timberlake has revealed that he had some pearls of wisdom to help Olivia Wilde play his character's mum.

Despite being three years younger than the Sexy Back singer, Wilde plays mum to JT in new sci-fi thriller In Time, and Justin said he helped her get into character by telling her things that his own mother would have done.

"We laughed about it when we first saw each other. First of all, Olivia is three years younger than me," he told the Daily Star.

"We'd read the script and I would say, 'Here's something my mum might do,' or 'Here's the way my mum might say it'.

"I think she really looked to me to give her those little things because she had the trickier job in our scenes."
