Jennifer Lopez: 'American Idol wore me out'

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has admitted she thought about leaving American Idol as working on the show left her feeling worn out.

The 42-year-old, who is mother to three-year-old twins Max and Emme and split from husband Marc Anthony in July, has been comfirmed to return to the judging panel for the next season of the talent competition.

But she says she had previously been unsure.

Speaking at a news conference in Savannah, Georgia, Lopez told reporters: "I got a little bit tired at the end with everything going on in my life at the time."

But Jennifer soon changed her mind as she likes working with fellow judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson and host Ryan Seacrest.

She added: "It is one of the best things I've ever done. Walking in here, they're working at a diner, and we get to watch them grow into a superstar. I was like 'OK I'm gonna do it again.'"
