Jay-Z signs Will Smith's daughter Willow

Jay-Z has signed Will Smith's daughter Willow to his label, Roc Nation.

Appearing on Ryan Seacrest's show in the US, the music mogul announced that the nine-year-old has officially joined the Roc Nation clan.

The youngster leapt to fame after her track Whip My Hair was leaked on YouTube, generating 70,000 hits.

The big man of rap gushed to Seacrest, "I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine-year-old and I was like man that record's a smash.

"I believe in superstars. I believe on big records on superstars and I think she has both."

In a statement to AllHipHop.com he added, "We at Roc Nation are excited to work with Willow."
