J-Lo 'wasn't sure' about American Idol

Jennifer Lopez has revealed that it took her some time to agree to sit as a judge on American Idol.

The singer will join Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler on the panel, but said that she 'wasn't sure' whether or not to sign up at first.

Appearing on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, she explained, "I had a record coming out, I've got lots of things happening, I heard how much of a diva Ryan [Seacrest] was...

"But seriously after I really thought about it and how much I do enjoy the show I thought it'd be a blast. This is going to be good."

She added, "These guys are my friends, so I thought this would be fun - it's easy. We're having so much fun. It's the easiest job that I've ever had."
