I snorted $20 million, says Steven Tyler

Aerosmith rock god Steven Tyler has confessed he splashed $20 million on a drug-fuelled good time – blowing most of his money by 1983.

In sneak peek of his outrageous new memoir Tyler, 62, wrote: "I blew 20 million. I snorted my Porsche, I snorted my plane. I snorted my house … all in that din of drugs and booze and being lost."

He was so strung out he had to keep gear hidden on stage with him at all times. He wrote: "I kept my medicine cabinet on stage, in a 14-inch drum head, the bottom of which contained one cup full of blow with a straw in it and another one with Coca-Cola and Jack Daniels.

Groupies were everywhere, but Tyler was embarrassingly rebuffed by raven-haired rocker Joan Jett from Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, now 52,

When touring together Tyler stripped naked at her hotel door and waited, legs akimbo after he rang her bell.

"I'm not into big 10-inch, honey," quipped Jett, before she slammed the door in his face.

Big 10 Inch Record was a huge Aerosmith hit.
