Hot Scottish weather holds up Brad Pitt's film

Filming for Brad Pitt's new zombie movie has been held up by the Scottish weather - because it's been too sunny.

A crash scene for World War Z was due to be filmed in Glasgow at the weekend but the script called for grey skies - and it was hot.

A film insider told Scottish newspaper the Daily Record: "Scottish weather can be unpredictable but you normally don't have to wait too long for overcast skies.

"Sunday was simply too bright and summery for the scenes they were after so it was bad news for the movie."
