Glasgow's own Brad Pitt had to flee from fans after he was mistaken for the actor.

Jonathan Lambie, 39, was in George Square, Glasgow, when some of the actor's fans started taking photos of him.

He said to UK newspaper Daily Record: "I got uncomfortable when folk began to stare at me, then started snapping me as I walked along. It was getting very embarrassing, so I turned around again and disappeared."

Lambie is a case officer for a financial firm in Glasgow but said he has been asked to open venues such as supermarkets in the past.

He added: "Mind you, if Brad contacted me and said: 'Let's go out on the town together for a night for a giggle' then I might be up for it."
