Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey previously fronted the brand's male product range.

The 40-year-old will be the worldwide spokesperson for the Hydra Energetic line, though the deal excludes the US.

Gerard is currently filming his new movie Machine Gun Preacher in Detroit, Michigan.
