George Clooney pulls out of spy drama

George Clooney has reportedly dropped out of Steven Soderbergh's film The Man From U.N.C.L.E.

According to Deadline.com, no reason has yet been given for the 50-year-old actor's departure from the big-screen adaptation of the 1960s spy show.

Clooney landed the lead role last year after working with Soderbergh on several movies including the Ocean's trilogy and Out Of Sight.

Warner Bros is said to still be going ahead with the flick despite the Oscar-winning star pulling out of the venture.

Filming for the movie is set to start next February.
