George Clooney drops out of spy drama due to bad back?

Actor George Clooney reportedly had to drop out of Steven Soderbergh's new big-screen adaptation of the 1960s spy show, Man From U.N.C.L.E, because of his health.

The 50-year-old seriously injured his back and brain after filming a violent scene in Syriana and he is apparently still recovering from it.

A source told E! News: "He said he just can't do the action and stunt scenes.

"In fact, I think he's planning on having another operation during the time he would have been filming.

"But George knows this movie is all about action and he knows he's just not up to it. That's what this is about. It's nothing to do with Steven."
