Geenas shock at twin news

Film star Geena Davis has told how she went into “absolute shock” when told she was pregnant with twins.

The Thelma & Louise icon said she was on her own when an ultrasound scan revealed the babies because her surgeon husband Reza Jarrahy was in an operating theatre.

Geena, now starring in a new Australian film Accidents Happen, said: “I was on my own and the doctors showed me there were two and I was like, ‘Oh my God’.

“I was in absolute shock but it was fantastic.”

Geena gave birth to the twin boys, Kian and Kaiis, in 2004.
