Gary Barlow wants to cut raunchy routines on The X Factor

New X Factor judge Gary Barlow has insisted that producers on the talent competition stop guest artists from performing sexy routines.

Last year, there were over 4,000 complaints following pop star Rihanna and Christina Aguilera's raunchy outfits and dance moves.

Take That star Gary, who replaces Simon Cowell on the judging panel, agrees that they were too explicit for a family programme and wants the show to be more clean cut.

The 40-year-old told British newspaper the Daily Mirror: "I watched last year with my 10 and eight-year-old - and Christina Aguilera was too much for me."
