Ellen Pompeo: 'I do NOT have six toes'

Ellen Pompeo has laughed at speculation that the star has six toes on one of her feet.

Pompeo was snapped out and about in Los Feliz, California, wearing open-toed sandals that appear to reveal a surplus toe on her right foot.

But TMZ reports that Pompeo has ridiculed the pic, calling it an optical illusion, as in another snap the same foot shows her with the regulation number of toes.

One of Grey's Anatomy producers Tweeted, "Pompeo and I are still laughing. She says to tell everyone the rumours are wrong, she has SEVEN toes on each foot!"
