Ellen DeGeneres receives an invite to Kim Kardashian's wedding after asking the star on Twitter

US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres has received a last minute wedding invite to Kim Kardashian's wedding after reaching out to the reality star on Twitter.

The 30-year-old is set to marry her basketball fiance Kris Humphries in a ceremony in Montecito, California, on Saturday.

Stars including 17-year-old Justin Bieber and Nicole Richie, 29, are rumoured to be attending Kim's big day, but Ellen, 53, was not invited.

DeGeneres Tweeted yesterday: "No invitation to Kim Kardashian's wedding yet. Worst Thing In The World."

Kardashian noticed the message - and quickly replied: "Of course u are invited!!!! Come!"
